Transportation in Bhutan

Bhutan is heavily dependent on raod connectivity when it comes to transportation. From extreme West to far East, the tarmac road winds its way up and down mountains, across bridges, along the side of cliffs and over high mountain passes. Often, roads can be steep and winding, making a journey of 100km a morning’s adventure. Our contemporary fleet of 4WD SUV’s, spacious Toyota station wagons, as well as Toyota Coaster and Hiace buses are perfectly suited to covering these long distances and winding roads.

If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend bringing medication with you as a precaution due to the winding, plagued by ascends and descends, roads.

We recommend that travellers to Bhutan come with a relaxed attitude and a sense of adventure to get the most out of their journey.
